    A dark windy gloomy day

It´s a dark windy gloomy day. A perfect day to stay home and read, watch a movie or write something...as I´m doing right now.....but not a day to go for a bicycle ride along the river. It´s too windy.

I wonder if there is anyone who reads what I write about in English. I really don´t think so because nobody ever makes any comments.

But, I like to write, like my father, especially in English because it´s my mother tongue...although I can speak Spanish very well.

Writing in Spanish is more difficult for me because I lack vocabulary, so I think that I often write like a child in Spanish.

I usually read the Levante newspaper to see what´s happening in Valencia. At the moment I don´t see many good things happening in Valencia......only bad news...and no good news.

What really happened with the tragic underground accident in 2006? Whose fault was it? Did anyone say 'We are very sorry'?  It´s still a mystery and nobody says anything after so many years.

Well, there´s a lot of negative news which I´m not going to talk about, or I will simply get  very depressed.

There is some good news, though. I was reading that nearly half the population of Valencia uses the bicycle as a means of transportation.

This is great news. Valencia is a perfect city to ride a bike. The local government should make more bike ways in the big avenues..such as 'Marques del Turia' or Colon street....and many other Avenues in the city.

This will atrract many more tourists. Valencia can easily become the bicycle capital of Europe.

Valencia can also become the cleanist city in Europe as less people use their cars. This is a reality.

Let´s hope the local government is thinking about this and will make this possible in the near future. It´s the best way to make Valencia a more attractive city for everyone.

Well, what do you think? Let me know if someone reads this article and if I should even bother writing any more articles.  FOR WHAT?
