    Valencia Internacional

    "AT LAST"

    "AT LAST".

Changes. New faces…and a Mayor in Valencia who speaks Valenciano and a bicycle rider.

As Joan Ribó likes to ride his bicycle to work and in the city, I hope he will make some important changes in the city.

Let´s hope he will make IT EASIER AND MORE COMFORTABLE TO RIDE A BICYCLE IN THE CENTER OF THE CITY”

It would be wonderful to close traffic in some streets in the city center.

The city center should only be for pedestrians and cyclists.

It must be done because there is a lot of noise from all the traffic and too much contamination.

Valencia is visited by a lot of tourists from different countries.

I´m sure they would love to see less cars in the city center, breathe clean air when they are walking, riding a bike, having a snack, having a coffee or having lunch outside in the many terraces.

It also would be a good idea to make new bike lanes in some important avenues, such as “La Gran Via” and “Fernando Católico”, and other avenues.

Let´s hope this new Valencian government will be able to work together in peaceful harmony, bringing about positive changes, working for the people by making social changes, eradicate corruption.......... and THE START OF A NEW AND PROPEROUS ERA FOR EVERYONE.

There is a saying in English, “All talk and no action”.

In Spanish it is “Mucho ruido y pocas nueces

This is what always happens when politicians promise a lot of things to the people.

As soon as they are elected, for some reason or another, they “DON´T PRACTICE WHAT THEY PREACH”.  They forget all the promises they have made.

It is another curious saying. In Spanish it is, “Practicar lo que se predica”

We will see if they will AT LAST...... “PRACTICE WHAT THEY PREACH”
