    "It doesn´t turn me on"

Can you turn on the radio?  =¿Puedes poner la radio?

I have to turn on my computer  = Tengo que encender mi ordenador

TURN ON tambien otro significado de PONER….pero mas bien sexual.

“You turn me on”  = Me pones a cien. Está claro no! Me enciendes con un fuego interior

Si digo como ya lo mencioné con el titulo: “It turns me on”, significa que “Me mola” o me agrada.

Traveling really turns me on  = Viajar me mola mucho / Me gusta un mogollon

Yo lo voy a usar en la forma negativa:

“It doesn´t turn me on” = No me mola / No me agrada / No me gusta para nada

Do you want to see that movie? No, it doesn´t turn me on = ¿Quieres ver esa peli? No, no me mola.

    Mas negativo sería:

“It doesn´t turn me on at all  = No me mola en absoluto

So…..there are a lot of things that don´t turn me on at all.

It doesn´t turn me on that:

-That there are people who lie all the time

-That many politicians are corrupt and greedy

-That industrialized countries are destroying and contaminating our planet

-That there are still wars and people are dying

-That there are crazy people with explosives on their body exploding the bomb and killing hundreds of innocent people practically everyday

-That there are people who are fleeing from countries in war and are turned down by the rich industrialized countries

-That Spain has to vote again and it´s possible to have the same problem and ressults once again

-That the bloody politicians were not able to reach an agreement to make a more liberal and progressive government

-That there are families who don´t receive any kind of help

-That families must leave their homes because they can´t pay the mortgage

-That after leaving their homes, they have to contiune paying back the loan

-That there are people who mistreat their dogs

    -That people are egoistic

-That people throw litter in the street

-That people continue to smoke knowing that tabacco is slowly killing them

-That young people in Spain must leave their country to look for work

-That the Spanish government is doing very little to create jobs.

-That there are important people or companies that have their money stashed away in fiscal paradises in order to hide their money and not pay taxes

And…it doesn´t turn me on to hear some Catalan people say they want to be independent from Spain and create their own state

Well, I can go on and on, but that´s enough for now.

As you can see, there are a lot of things that don´t turn me on
